But, on 6/17/20 the attorney for Kenneth Walker asked for a permanent dismissal of charges pending a grand jury indictment as stated here.... [link to www.courier-journal.com (secure)]



Im the motion it reads; Commonwealth’s Attorney Tom Wine on May 22 announced he was dropping the charges at least temporarily, pending further investigation by the FBI and Kentucky attorney general. But Wine said the case could presented again to a grand jury. 

In the motion, attorney Rob Eggert asks Jefferson Circuit Judge Olu Stevens to grant immunity, saying Walker was within his rights to defend himself and Taylor under Kentucky’s stand-your-ground law. 

The statute allows the use of deadly force to protect oneself against death or serious physical injury. 


So, why board up Hall of Justice? Has a decision already been made to charge Kenneth Walker? Or have all criminal charges against the officers involved been revoked? One thing is for sure, they expect something to happen tomorrow in Louisville.
