It was grant money. He was not the only person to receive grant money from the city of Seattle. That is not a crime. So you are getting a little over excited .

I just thought that it was nuts that this particular guy got a grant for such a large amount, that he seems to be wealthy enough to have a Tesla and normally people who receive grants like that are not wealthy and that he was filmed giving away free guns a week before a homicide in the CHOP where he blamed the city emergency workers for the death instead of the gun that killed him. It could even have been a gun he had given someone, who knows?!

It is probably true that Jenny Durkan did not personally approve of a grant to this person, there is probably a committee to award grants. However, by the time she made her summer of love comment, she probably was aware of it and the potential for the end of her career. Or she knew all along and it was a trump trap. Personally that is over the top and it is very hard to imagine any city government using thousands of people to destroy a city already struggling with this virus, to make trump look bad. Come on, Trump already looks bad. The better the dem cities look, the worse it makes trump but this city looks bad it does not enhance the leadership.
