Government has more employees than any other USA working branch, they're the true parasites and leeches, imagine how much would've been saved if most of them, 25 million employees would be fired, USA would flourish

Nearly everyone in Congress is not working for our (the people's) benefit - they're beholden to big corporate lobbyists, banksters and whichever foreign interests write them huge checks.

I think we should defund congress for a while & send their asses home without severance pay or health insurance. We already got too damn many laws on the books. We don't need them making more and trying to take away the rest of our constitutional rights in the process.

Put the Legislative branch on a 4 year time-out. Let the Executive and Judicial branches work unimpeded by all their BS for the next 4 years, and then we'll see how yuuuge (LOL) the recovery is. Then we can hold congressional elections again. No political parties, no PACs, just people & platforms they can describe at length and in detail - no 30 second sound bites allowed. Ranked voting style ballots.

Every politician from in the federal government is a made up job, sometimes without even a real person to go with it, in order to siphon more money to Isreal, which will soon be empty and need no funding.

Humanity has been looking for an answer to this problem for a very long time.

The best we've come up with is Democratic Socialism if you look at 'Happiness' of a people as a metric, which you should. Not wealth, not military might, but happiness.

Costa Rica is a fine example of this as is Norway. Both listed over a hundred spots higher in terms of happiness of the population and safety and freedom than the US.

People thought they were crazy to get rid of their government and turn the tax dollars away from funding it to funding themselves. They were warned by the US, threatened by the US that the 'evil bad guys' surrounding them (that they created and funded!) would come in and conquer them.

This did not happen. Instead the people took care of themselves from birth to death. Nobody goes hungry or uneducated or left alone and homeless in old age, or goes sick with fear of going into poverty after seeking treatment. These are all basic human rights there now for the people.

Now...nobody is going to get rich in these places, that's the trade off. You do get a say in your politics though and there is a more active effort on the part of the peoples there in their own governance. But again, 99% of the people don't mind, the 1% are the disenfranchised in these places that opted out.

But years of indoctrination by the same State that does not wish to be dismantled will have people feeling that this is the wrong path.

I'll close this by saying, a tree shall be known by it's fruits. Look at the results they are clear.

If all of this lefty liberalism social democracy is so bad than why are Costa Rica and Norway doing so good? Why are they so happy? Why are the people in the US so violent, dangerous, unhappy, taxed by the rich to pay to keep a broken system going? Why is this?

Is our model the one that needs to be looked at and evaluated going forward or do we need to be stuck here forever? All for the sake of some...empty words that profit career politicians, corrupt corporations and the machine that protects them from those they are meant to represent?
