Yea, you need to travel there in a time machine, not an airplane. Last time I was there it sucked ass. It gradually became worse over the years I went there and fracking expensive. You can't even trust the illegal hookers there anymore...lol. Go to the Caribbean or Cancun all inclusive!

Punta Mita, Acapulco, Mazatlan... Cabo, though Cabo may seem to be a little too close to the border. When they're open again, that is. Delightful vacations. Safe, since resorts tend to be cartel owned. Immeasurably more relaxing than Vegas.

you could still enjoy yourself in Vegas. Find some dark, divey casino/bars and commit debauchery there. The Strip sucks donkey balls anyway.

I have a Florida beach vacation booked for August. That's going to happen as long as they keep the beaches open otherwise I'll cancel it.

I have a relative who lives in Vegas. He says that antifa skateboarders patrol streets on a daily basis. Vegas is under enemy control. Avoid like the plague. Fly into Vegas, rent a car and drive up to Tahoe. Rent a pontoon cabin and live life.

Have fun in Vegas! Last time I was there I accidentally flooded 17 floors of the Hooters hotel/casino; left the shower on all day, oops.

I just got back from Vegas. You should definitely go. There are way less people, which is fabulous.. The food places close early, hard to get Uber, & have to wear a mask at game tables. I did not take any extra precautions- I am not a mask person. I touched every hand rail, escalator rail, elevator button, slot machine, change machine and used minimal free sanitizer (which is everywhere). I am not a “face toucher” person & use soap & water in the bathrooms & before meals. I will find out soon if I get sick & let you know. But we had a great time!! The airplane was very loose on the mask requirement- everyone had one on the first few minutes - but people were eating & drinking (no alcohol) as soon as the bagged food was passed out. No one seemed overly concerned. No mask was needed at the airport for getting boarding pass, security or waiting for plane. They did make a show of taking temperatures while boarding with a hand held light sensor type thermometer- no one had a temperature. People were sharing pens to write names on baggage tags- no cleansing between use. You can’t live your life in a bubble- go enjoy yourself & win big. It’s more enjoyable in Vegas without the huge crowds.

I am not a gambler, though I am a people watcher, so for me it is about the SHOWS, People Watching, Eating, and just enjoying the ambiance. (when Vegas is humming the shows are fabulous, and there a number of first rate shows to choose from)

I am not sure many of the Shows are open, and most of the big ones are probably closed, that for me would right then and there be THE Deal Breaker.

I would wait until CV19 has run it's course, which is probably 12 to 18 months out, and masses of people have returned to Vegas, then Vegas can get back to being Vegas.

If your deal is 80% about gambling ... then it is probably an OK time to go.

I could barely stand to drive THROUGH Las Vegas. It's a trashy low vibe home for psychic vampires. We stopped at a gas station to use the restroom and I was afraid I'd get mugged there. Sin City, yuck.

Why don't you go to the mountains in northwest Montana? They have hot springs and beautiful scenery, fresh air and pure water, down to earth decent people. Go hiking, fishing, picnicking, enjoy a barbecue at a restaurant on the river.

Not cancelling. We'll be there in 3 weeks. It's our hometown so we know how to navigate around and staying off strip.

There are actually lots of people vacationing here again from out of state. The casinos on the south strip especially are pretty busy.
