I think I understand what the OP is saying and it actually makes sense. I've instinctually been backing away from things and looking at what's going down, basically like a hawk flying over a forest. When defeating an enemy, you must sit back and observe just like when you're playing chess. The opponent doesn't know your strategy if you stay silent because you're not telling them your plan. Also, whatever these people have planned will only cause them to defeat themselves. It's best to just sit back and relax while they destroy it themselves. A few weeks back, something told me to stop sharing certain things with certain people and I got a strong sense of being "watched", especially by people whom I realized are untrustworthy. This includes family and former friends. Now this might be paranoia but my intuition has stirred me correctly in my life thus far. There's only a select few who will be prepared mentally and spiritually for what's to come.

I get you. My Mom used to warn me to not trust anyone and to most definitely not put anything in writing. My blessed Mom has moved on into the Lord's domain, but I know if she can see me, continues to wring her hands and shake her head at how I ignore her warnings.

She always said people will prompt you to take a stand but when you do and you turn around to garner their support, they have scurried away and left you standing alone. I guess I am simply 'dumb' as I have experienced this time and time sgsin, but continue to be a Defender'.

No actually this person (the OP) is on the tight track. If you participate in what they have planned then you are part of the problem. Most people are falling into in which means that if you have some sense, you would know that you shouldn't copy what the majority does. "Picking sides" is their goal and what they want us to do because they want to keep us separated so that we can keep fighting for some so-called cause. The chaos is never resolved, why is that? Why is it that nothing ever changes? How can you vote in a system that was not truly made to help the people? The OPs post reminds me of Stoicism. I wonder if he/she is being inspired by that.
