Outside my home a little while ago. It wasn't the wind. Based on how it sounded, the source was moving, but slowly. It sounded sad. Someone who is in distress would project his or her voice. Whatever this was, it was just letting out a noise, at a steady volume. Just letting out a noise. No urgency or danger, just a basic sound, no attempting to project it. When a person is sad or is in distress, the cadence of the sound varies. A person projects, and the pitch, the tone, changes. What made this noise stand out is it was on an even keel. No urgency.
