I heard the sound a few weeks back during another
white-out. It's really freaky and a sound I hope I don't

Crazy as it sounds - sounds beams have been directed at us since the 1950's. They can affect every part of life. They are the reason for the bee die off, bird die off and wales and dolphins beaching themselves. Did you all know that Russia has been directing a non-stop sound wave at us since at least the 1950's? Well they have. Google it or look it up on youtube.

It could also be tectonic plates moving underground or underground water.

Edit to add trees can make groaning sounds too when they are moving in the wind.

A Banshee let's out a sound like sharpened claws on a chalkboard. Strident and piercing. This moaning was low-pitched. It wasn't piercing, nor was it strident.

A wendigo let's out a howl. A howl's cadence rises and falls. This moaning didn't rise and fall. It was one steady cadence, one steady volume.

All of those have a cadence. Rising and falling, different tones and pitches. They're all projected, intentionally put out at volume.

Whatever this was, it was just letting out a noise, no attempt at projecting volume. No change in cadence, tone, or pitch. Cats , Mountains Lion, Bears, Foxes, Wolves, Wendigos, Banshees, Birds, the wind.

This had no change in cadence, volume, or pitch. It started at one volume, and had an even cadence. And it kept going at a steady volume with no variation whatsoever.


And everyone where I live heard it.

From the direction, and how it was moving slowly, it was coming from outside down at at street level.

And it was moan. There was no creaking, and it wasn't shrieking, nor was it howling or keening.


Just one steady volume. It didn't rise or or fall. It was very low-pitched, with no variation whatsoever.

Just one constant steady noise.
