Yahoo Finance state the source is PRNewswire, which is an outlet for corporate press releases.

In short, someone paid PRNewswire to send a story to Yahoo Finance, who then published it without checking a word of it, as the useless lazy ass non-journalists they are.

(PRNewswire is fully owned by Cision Ltd, which is in turn fully owned by MJ23 UK Acquisition Limited. This is some kind of anonymous low-key corporation that was started on 05 Sep 2019. They apparently have billions to throw around, but I have no idea who they are.)
