I've not even heard of anyone having it. I think the virus is real, but the perceived danger does not match reality. 0.04% mortality for those under 70 and 0.26% overall, and that isn't even correcting for the inflated death counts. The averaged person knows no one that dies from the flu in a given year, so the average person will also know no one that dies of this one this year. |

He's in a world of hurt. There are others in the fire service in OC that have been in ICU that I do NOT know personally. So the answer is one person. |

He was 92 but suddenly got sick, not respiratory. I suspect he had cancer. However, I was afraid to take him to the hospital because I wouldn't have been allowed to go in. He would have died alone. So, he died at home with me. It was so sad, I'm having trouble as well coming to terms. I can't believe I was afraid to take him in. I am so sorry what happened to your mom.
