Less offensive in my view. Still vandalism but tearing down historical statues is far worse.

Posted by a guy on Facebook:

In 1990 Anthony Weimer was born. He had a brother, Charles Weimer born in 1988. 1988 was the year I moved to Montana. In 2002 Anthony Weimer, 13; Charles Weimer, 15; and Scott Hadley, 13 were accused of setting fires and vandalism and theft, including stealing 13 cell phones, setting fires to open land and to a house under construction and to a house someone was sleeping in near the Kalispell area. Over $50,000 in damage was done.

JUNE 27th, 2020, in Kalispell, Montana, 30-year-old Anthony Weimer hooked onto a Ten Commandments monument from the front of a courthouse in Kalispell with his pickup truck and a chain. He dragged the Ten Commandments down the road. He unhooked it and left it in the middle of the street in Kalispell. Living in Columbia Falls, Montana, he was caught and charged with felony criminal mischief.

Probably missed being in jail.

What kind of a sentence will he get for criminal mischief? maybe they will keep him a while. He obviously hasn't learned any lessons from his childhood.

He'll get one year for every commandment lmao

Maybe so. He's being charged with felony criminal mischief. Would the 10-year sentence Trump spoke about apply in this case?

"Throw the book at him."

I saw what you did, there.

Just drop it on him from about 10 feet.

Kalispell Police Department said its officers, along with Flathead County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol, were called to 800 South Main Street among receiving a report regarding a man, later identified as Anthony Weimer, wrapping a chain around the monument and then promptly pulling it with his pick-up truck into the street on Saturday at 3:45 p.m., NBC Montana first reported.
