They won't stop until the west is completely destroyed. These brain dead leftists and establishment conservitives are just tools in a long war against freedom. Those involved and those laughing and cheering will suffer the most because they actually think they're winning something. I really wouldn't care if the flag was changed, but the way this was done is EXACTLY what is wrong with our country.

Instead of bringing it to a vote, BY THE PEOPLE, the state legislature voted to CHANGE THE RULES, so they could then vote to remove our flag.

My own state congressman, Larry Byrd, a Republican, whom I have known for 50 years, voted to change the rules.

This is unacceptable! I will actively campaign against him, when and if he runs for reelection.

My reason for opposing changing the flag, is because I don't like to be threatened.

For years, states like California have prevented their government employees from attending meetings held here, because of the flag. That is actually GREAT!

But now, the SEC says there will be no championship games played in Mississippi, as long as the flag stands.

Black college athletes began saying, in BROKEN ENGLISH, that they would refuse to play, as long as the flag stands.

FUCK EM ALL, AND FEED EM GRITS!!!

My fellow Mississippians surely have a reputation for not being the most educated, nor the most refined citizens of this country. That may be true, and may not be all that bad, in the long run. HOWEVER, my fellow Mississippians have, for over TWO HUNDRED YEARS, NEVER allowed anybody to threaten, or coerce them into conforming, or behaving in a particular manner.

If my fellow Mississippians remain complacent, and allow this bullying to succeed, WE AS A STATE, AND THIS NATION, ARE DONE!!

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi will retire the last state flag in the U.S. with the Confederate battle emblem, more than a century after white supremacist legislators adopted the design a generation after the South lost the Civil War.

A broad coalition of lawmakers — Black and white, Democrat and Republican — voted Sunday for change as the state faced increasing pressure amid nationwide protests against racial injustice.

Mississippi has a 38% Black population, and critics have said for generations that it’s wrong to have a flag that prominently features an emblem many condemn as racist.
