Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10739329 When I was a kid 4 decades ago it was known as the "Rebel Flag". The kids I knew who put stickers on their notebooks of this flag were rebels, not white supremacists There is nothing wrong with rebelling or revolting it it is what needs to happen. UNFORTUNATELY, this flag is a white racists symbol also. If you can say the term "white racists symbol" and you're not being sarcastic, then you're part of the problem. That flag is now used exclusively by white supremacists PERIOD. Even if you're right, and btw you're not, So what? I wouldnt admit I was one if I were you Not a good boat to be in. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76596797 I just find it weird everyone everywhere seems to be capitulating to these demands of all sorts. That flag should never fly over the USA in any state that is still in the USA. It is the enemy of the USA and what we are supposed to be. "we hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, among these life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" Thr same men who wrote that, also said if you're not White, you can't become a citizen. You have the mind of a child to believe they thought blacks, amerindians or asians were men. You're an ignorant, stupid asshole. There wouldn't be no United States, no Constitution or nor representative government without INDIANS They didnt try that shit on us in 1776, did they? We'd have wiped them out down to the last man. |

So, there is no point in me discussing this with you. WHat are we discussing here, shit for brains? |

In your OPINION I'm an ignorant, stupid asshole. But you can't prove that I'm wrong or even try to present any kind of argument in support of said beliefs. Now when I respond by saying that you're delusional, the difference between our two opinions is mine is based on fact, while yours is only delusional. I'll also add the fact that you're pampered and don't have much of anything that wasn't handed to you by those who think of you as their tool. They are not wrong. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79088961 United States 06/29/2020 11:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in Mississippi. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68984137 I really wouldn't care if the flag was changed, but the way this was done is EXACTLY what is wrong with our country. Instead of bringing it to a vote, BY THE PEOPLE, the state legislature voted to CHANGE THE RULES, so they could then vote to remove our flag. UNAMERICAN!!! COMMUNIST!!! USURPERS!!! My own state congressman, Larry Byrd, a Republican, whom I have known for 50 years, voted to change the rules. This is unacceptable! I will actively campaign against him, when and if he runs for reelection. My reason for opposing changing the flag, is because I don't like to be threatened. For years, states like California have prevented their government employees from attending meetings held here, because of the flag. That is actually GREAT! But now, the SEC says there will be no championship games played in Mississippi, as long as the flag stands. Black college athletes began saying, in BROKEN ENGLISH, that they would refuse to play, as long as the flag stands. FUCK EM ALL, AND FEED EM GRITS!!! My fellow Mississippians surely have a reputation for not being the most educated, nor the most refined citizens of this country. That may be true, and may not be all that bad, in the long run. HOWEVER, my fellow Mississippians have, for over TWO HUNDRED YEARS, NEVER allowed anybody to threaten, or coerce them into conforming, or behaving in a particular manner. If my fellow Mississippians remain complacent, and allow this bullying to succeed, WE AS A STATE, AND THIS NATION, ARE DONE!! |
