Your ancestors had not moved to farming, they were/are still hunter/gatherers. Just now the hunter/gatherer part is murder and looting. The few black farmers and ranchers, just like their white counterparts, have been doing this for generations. Building on generations of knowledge and wisdom. You cannot just run from the hood, ass hanging from your pants, and think you can be a farmer or rancher. Even growing a veggie garden is hard work, and that's NOTHING compared to running a farm. User ID: 75325376 United States 06/29/2020 09:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | article actually mentions GW carver AKA mr Peanut butter hoax Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76677781 it goes on to say he was trying to get people to farm peanuts to pit nitrogen back into the soil, something he allegedly pioneered. i guess they're sick of being lambasted of the peanut butter hoax so they got to move on to something new. except this practice of planting support crops to enrich the soil is nothing new or soley african. native europeans also grew food successfully for thousands of years (more so that africans) and also knew about these same practices. native american tribes used the same practices of planting beans and adding fish high in nitrogen to the soil europeans did the same things with a practice called huglekulture so they basically discredit themselves with that alone. it seems like black people love to pour over history and look for anything they can percieve as a missed to stolen opportunity for who cares how many generations ago to justify their status in life now. but they always ignore all the obvious reasons that are relevant now. The American Indians did this on planting the 3 sisters. Planting corn, beans, and Squash. They each help the other plant to survive. The corn grew tall to give beans support, the beans put nitrogen in the soil, and the squash protect the moisture in the ground with the leaves. They all work together. Grandma9 |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75733009 United States 06/29/2020 09:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Then they should go buy some land and learn to farm. Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith Their ancestors chose to sell the land and move to cities. That is now the problem of white people? First, they will need to get training on how to properly handle, store, maintain, and use the hundreds of different chemicals that it takes to grow acres upon acres of food. Then they will need corporate sponsorship and gov. funding... soil test, and proper equipment and storage. That's just the beginning of the journey, there's a shit ton of paperwork and other responsibilities to manage as well. People think country living, let alone farming, is a piece of cake. It's not. You are constantly doing something, driving FOREVER to get anything you can't make yourself, pests and bugs, frighteningly huge animals getting into your stuff, knowing how to *safely and effectively* use firearms and other equipment. On top of that, many agricultural/country areas are--let's put it mildly--hell on earth during winter. Here it gets routinely to be 30 below. You find your clothing becoming dingier and bulkier the longer you live here. It's like a perpetual thing all winter, staying warm and mustering up the bravery and desire to step one foot outside. Most people turn tail and run after a number of years, including the natives. So if you want the beauty and joys that come with country living and agricultural areas/lifestyles you gotta take the bad. And there's plenty of it. Most simply do NOT have the fortitude. That's why most of us here just grin at the idea of being over-run. By any group. Hahahah, we get a good chuckle over the idea. |

Quoting: Shurrie Most people ,regardless of their ethnic identity, DO NOT know how to farm!! Hell most can not even grow a back yard garden or herbs in a window sill!!! It's even harder to grow food from seeds!!! How many of these 'city dwellers' can drive a stick shift?? How many understand the need and ability to read the weather to know when to plant or harvest?? Do they know the difference between a 'feed' crop and a 'food' crop? How many understand how to check their soil for PH or infestations ?? Do they know how to do canning or proper storage of foods and grains??? That's just the 'food' side of farming..... Livestock!!! I just lost my rooster and 3 hens due to a coyote! Do they know how to house, feed, water, protect and care for livestock??? Do they know how to properly butcher livestock? or even 'Cure' the meat??? Do they know how to ensure their meat is not tainted?? Also, herd to land control... very important! Gads now let's talk about Equipment! Earlier I mentioned being able to drive a stick... a lot of older equipment on farms are stick shift - also a lot still run on diesel... Do they know which piece of equipment does what on a farm??? How to maintain the equipment?? Then just basic home essential-- like well water maintenance, windmill or pump? Type of electric power to run the farm?? The MAJOR SEPTIC TANK!!!! What about Critter Control--deer, Coyotes, raccoons, opossums, rat snakes, rats, mice, chicken hawks just to name a few critters I mean, this is a just a small list of things -- and if they think that they will get farmer John to tend to it for them... they are beyond stupid! The farmer will die first before he/she allows someone else to take their land and they certainly won't be slaves to any ethnic race on their land!!! in all fairness the information is publicly available and easily learned and applied. but do blacks actually want to be farmers? no they want to be plantation owners. In all fairness- just because you can read it or you tube it--- does NOT mean you can apply it!! Try milking a 1000lb cow who is not wanting to cooperate! try tube feeding a calf!!! gads I had a vet show me, practically hold my hand as I did it... and when I went home and had to do it solo..... gads!!!! I worried every damn time I was going to drown the poor thing! I couldn't do it on my goats and had to get creative to feed one! and I am sorry, watching Dr. Poe does not make pulling a calf easy peasy!!! ever have a 1000lb pissed off in pain momma come at you??? doubt it or you would NOT have made such a stupid reply! And I am sorry but, you can not learn HOW to Farm or Ranch just from watching a video or reading up on it.... You will get the basics.... and it is good for reference when you are unsure of something... but, it takes years to actually LEARN - through trial and error--- and a damn good old farmer, who spent his entire life farming and ranching!!! to guide you and hopefully encourage you... and even laugh at you !!!! I can watch a video on open heart surgery-- you gonna let me crack open your chest??? People who have NEVER farmed and think 'public' internet sources will give them all the tools to do are going to starve!! and BTW-- it takes a lot of monies to maintain a farm!!! You're mixing "farming" with "husbandry". They're not the same thing and the work involved is completely different. ok- you obviously know zip shit about 'farming!- so you think you can jut you tube how to fix a tractor? How about afford a brand spanking new combine? do you know how to survive if your crop fails because of blight? do you know which crops grow best in your area and why? and let me tell ya chief, after you watch a million videos on homesteading and small farming- get yourself a book called Five Acres and Independence, then come teach me how to grow lettuce, broccoli and spinach -- without chemicals to kill the grasshoppers... if you do not want chemicals then you need chickens, ginnies are best for bugs...Then you want major crops like Wheat, Sorghum, soybeans or perhaps corn? How do you want to plant them-- Amish style or modern? Amish is cheapest, but a hell of a lot harder then you think!! Modern, well we go back to the equipment needed... you got a lot of monies??? the old stuff breaks down and you need to know where to get the parts and/or rig it up!! New equipment is expensive and cost a lot to fix... Then there is storage of grains- will you do it onsite or at a grainery? what is the going price of the grain?? did you prepare your soil for the crop??? hell I can go on and on--- but you google your little heart out... and may I suggest you start small with your farm.. try you south facing window for herbs and a planter outside that is about 3 to 4 feet deep and 2 feet wide to grow 1 tomato plant (and if you want a variety of tomatoes, you will need to put some distance between the different tomato species..) Pay attention to the weather... do not water when the sun is fully out-- you may need to water twice a day... if you are able to successfully grow tomatoes- I suggest that you learn to properly can them and even try to sell them at a farmers market! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79083579 Unfortunately it dosent work like that. The Blacks get wound up in to a frenzy by the Commies. Like what happened in South Africa. Then Gangs of black criminals invade your farm rape your wife, daughters, the kill the lot of you and burn the farm to the ground. I have no doubt those instigating racial hatred want the South Africa model for United States. They disarmed the farmers there first. Exactly. They have tried unsuccessfully to do the same in US. They have zero chance of doing that any time given the political climate. Tipping point could come either way in November. I think the thought of a Democratic government, rightly terrifies the silent majority after what they see in Minneapolis. Dogsbollocks |
