I used to live in Morehead City. I swear it's the only place I've lived that's worse than Los Angeles in terms of how stupid and entitled people are.

Then he said they do. (he just did not want a run on masks so that people he felt were more important than you could still get one) So he proved he'll lie for his cause.

After that, he never wore one in the White House press conferences.

Now, he wears one for the show but the second the cameras are off, he removes it.

Good for you! I did the same the other day for my vision appt., was told to wear one and canceled my appt and made it with another provider that day.

For the first time yesterday, I threw one on to walk into the market cuz I just figured it would be easier to not get the stares.

Two seconds in, I thought, this is exactly how the Nazis started getting people to tell on their neighbors and ripped it off.

Now, if a clerk tells me I need one, I respectfully tell them that I understand as a business, our tyrants have control over them to shut them down, but as a citizen, they can not do so to me. I'm here at checkout, money in hand. If you don't want my business, I will go across the street and never enter this store again.

Besides, I know one person who got sick in March. I've never in my life known someone to get sick in July.

Initially, I was a strong proponent of wearing masks [I have a Bio-Hazard background and am well-studied on a variety of risk factors: I've actually handled live Rabies, Anthrax and Mad-Cow specimens on-the-job] until I did my own independent research and realized how bogus the concept actually was. So, I never wore one and haven't yet. I do however, have a full body suit and P100 on hand if I ever do.

However, since the data was still out on viral longevity on surfaces, I DID wear Nitrile gloves from day one [as in late-January] long before masks were even a topic of public discussion. Today I'm not even wearing those because data does not support doing it under current circumstances.

So, don't automatically assume those who resist these control mechanisms [and that's precisely what they are] are misguided, stupid or both.

Because we are not.

Do all doctors necessarily understand that this pandemic is fake? I'm sure many or most doctors believe that the COVID virus exists and is a threat, even though it is fake / non-existent.

I see no reason not to wear a full face mask. Many creative possibilities there! An Eyes-Wide-Shut type mask. You could make holes for breathing.
