It's clear... China is not going to back down, in fact they have built a forward military base on Indian territory and beefed up their military hardware at a scale never seen before in the entire 60 year history when their border war ended.

China is encroaching on all of its neighbors and basically is just throwing military hardware where it sees fit to take what it wants so far unchallenged but the inevitability is...

Either China is going to war or will push so hard war will be declared on China.

I think general american population also want to punish China for COVID. Trump can capitalize on current hate emotions against china by directly or indirectly helping India in this conflict.

Many of us would favor India in any impending conflict.


I tend to think such a conflict would precipitate a chain of events that might necessitate us taking a stand.

It is obviously best for the whole world if the conflict does NOT become nuclear, but I don't know for a fact that that is possible.

Chinese have cleverly chosen this time for conflict since US election r just around the corner,tying the hands of president Trump.

Pakis did the same thing by doing Pulwama attack on Indian forces just before the election last year.However, it backfired to them and helped Modi in having a landslide victory for his second term.
