Troll. Less than half of the US population actually works. The rest are retired, just born, in care, a spouse of someone who does work, or a student. Only about 12 million people are WILLFULLY unemployed. Very few people with skills are unemployed.

Social security requires the 12,4% tax from the work force to remain solvent. The consequences of the unemployment crisis is being downplayed by “stimulus “ checks which are actually what are tax credits for 2021 tax year, you are paying for them in other words.

I've made six figures I've made minimum wage . there is honor in all jobs . doing whatever it takes , few are brave enough these days .

I have lived most of my life on minimum wage even though I have 2 electronics degrees and an MD degree. The idea of working hard and you will make it is total bullshit. RACE MATTERS now as well as WHO YOU KNOW. Employers advertise a job position and get hundreds if not thousands of applications, good luck with that. My brother studied welding in high school and my dad got him into BASF back in 1974. He is rich now and he is a High school dropout. All of my engineer friends are lucky to be working and some have been let go permanently.

College is no longer a viable career path unless you major in a select few fields like Nursing.
