I have lived most of my life on minimum wage even though I have 2 electronics degrees and an MD degree. The idea of working hard and you will make it is total bullshit. RACE MATTERS now as well as WHO YOU KNOW. Employers advertise a job position and get hundreds if not thousands of applications, good luck with that. My brother studied welding in high school and my dad got him into BASF back in 1974. He is rich now and he is a High school dropout. All of my engineer friends are lucky to be working and some have been let go permanently.

College is no longer a viable career path unless you major in a select few fields like Nursing.

Covid19 did no such thing.

The governments did.

So THAT'S why TPTB keep cheering unemployment and

I know ALOT of.people here and none of them are unemployed.

ALOT is not a word.

Neither is anecdotal evidence, a proper form of argument. For obvious reasons.

I would be surprised if there is 25% or the adult population currently employed full time.

I think my third grade teacher told me about ALOT not being a word. Maybe Mr. Everyone Employed missed that day.
