The Burlington Coat Factory at 100 Oaks in Nashville is 95% empty. It was a shock, it looked like a store in a third world country. Obviously they intend to close it. However it's not due to lack of business, everyone else is booming. Rainbow Shops, the largest store at Opry Mills, looked like it intends to either scale way back or shut. They are the largest clothing store at that mall, it's huge, but no inventory. It's a real taste of what Cuba or anywhere is like where you do without.

Saks Off Fifth shut at Opry Mills also.

It's obvious the chain from China is broken, and we will have to wait a year or so for the supply to reboot from other countries and new suppliers. Vietnam makes the best textiles, Brazil makes great shoes and bags, so many countries we already import from that are better and make better stuff. We don't need their crap stuff anymore.

Break the chain from China and start producing in the US again.

Painful but necessary
