Yup. Brand new Ross in our town was nearly empty after first shutdown. Also I noticed the one year old Hobby Lobby here has ALL their seasonal shit out, from every season. I was guessing they’re also going to close down. There go some jobs... that locals didn’t have for very long. And I forgot, our JCP is going out of business too. Before these stores came all there was were thrift stores. So back to square one... thrift stores + Walmart.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18993956 I'm not finding things at Walmart. I was looking for sheets, and their selection was dismal. Someone said that they had all been bought to make masks. I don't believe that. The supply lines have been upset or severed. Quoting: La Listener We have a discount chain in southern New England called Ocean State Job Lots. They've had tons of empty shelves the past couple of months. I think it's that they can't get the shit from China anymore. There's some demand, certainly at those prices, but I think they just can't get stock. Hopefully non-China manufacturers will start to fill the hole but it will take time.
