Confederate statues weren’t built during the Confederacy. They were built during the Jim Crow era to incite fear.
Quoting: LiteaFart blacks today don't even know who those people are, they didn't know then either. and during the 'jim crow' era you didn't need a statue to incite fear, you used a gun and a rope. Those were used too. And they still are. Well maybe we need to kick it up a notch.. it aint workin!
