US revokes Hong Kong's special status on trade | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 74869053 United States 06/29/2020 11:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | USA's Ukraine protest overthrow attempt 2.0 fails in Hong Kong, dramatically speeds up Hong Kong's inevitable hand-over to the Chinese, and then the USA (painted into a corner again) washes their hands of it and feeds it to the dogs. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74869053 Wonderful foreign policy USA! By contrast, you'd do what? Threaten Beijing with military action if they didn't stop hassling Hong Kongers? Or, even better, not just keep the current special status of Hong Kong, but make them Honorary Member and Most Hollowed Member of Special Status? No quite the opposite. The USA would be slaughtered in any sort of Asian aggression. Particularly if they were foolish enough to pull some naval stunt against China. But what I would have never have done was pour gasoline on the fire in Hong Kong in the first place by trying a tired old color revolution plot aimed at China. Trump let someone talk him into that and it made it far worse - to the point where now the USA has to curl up into the fetal position and accept it. It reminds me of when Russia was forced to seize the Crimean Peninsula due to the USA's lame overthrow and destabilization attempt over there. If gave them a very reasonable excuse to act. Or when the USA and NATO gave Georgia a green light to attack S. Ossetia and Russia stomped their guts out and the USA welshed on their assurance of defense. Or when the USA tried to send a bunch of head-choppers to Syria to overthrow Assad and failed miserably thereby ultimately strengthening Russia and Iran. Seeing a pattern? |

Hong Kong is a goldmine of productive intellectuals who'd benefit our economy. Quoting: TheDarknessComes riiight...i can tell you've never been just what you need more aggressive non whites With about 47 million Americans out of work because of a fake virus. In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor. Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator. “Looking for consciousness in the brain is like looking in the radio for the announcer.” – Nasseim Haramein, Director of Research for the Resonance Project |

I've never seen any evidence that the CIA-State Dept was behind the HK protests. Unlike the engineered examples you gave, it struck me as genuine. Do you have evidence that it was a deep state op? Yes there is innumerable evidence, but the overt U.S. NGO and political support of the rioters, and the young figurehead of the protests being able to directly and unashamedly lobby the U.S. congress is a good place to start.
