It's called the Whore of Babylon or the "great whore" because the Hebrew people were corrupted by their time in Babylon, which is BTW current day Iraq. They are the same group Jesus went after. The same group controlling the USA right now. The same group that militarized the police and installed their dictator in out presidency.
