While the rate of infections has increased exponentially ,the deaths per day have fallen off from over 2000 a day in mid April to less than 500 per day now. Being objective about it the only logical conclusion is it has mutated and is no longer nearly as deadly as it was in April, and it is now widespread throughout the entire population. Once it is endemic trying to stop it is pointless really, like trying to empty the ocean with a table spoon.

There is an average of 18 days between onset of symptoms and death. Check back around the 10th of July. Things could be very grim then.  That happens when you put CoVid patients in Nursing homes. Survival rate for those without underlying conditions under the age of 70 is 99.8%. New infections are majority under age 50. That survival rate is closer to 99.99%. Quite being a DB.
