29 June Joe Biden told NBC News that he would immediately lift President Donald Trump’s June 22 moratorium on the inflow of H-1B contract workers if he wins the 2020 election. Trump “ended H1B visas the rest of this year,” Biden said in a June 27 town hall meeting organized by NBC News. “That will not be in my administration.” [ link to www.breitbart.com (secure)] The Breitbart article says Biden stated: “The people coming on these [H-1B] visas have built this country,” Biden added. ...and links to this story as the source: [ link to www.nbcnews.com (secure)] There is nothing in that article saying anything about H1B visas and nowhere in the article does Biden say “The people coming on these [H-1B] visas have built this country." Amazing...Breitbart just made it up. It's total fake news. Line #6 in the article: The people coming on these [H-1B] visas have built this country,” Biden added.in all fairness, that is only written in the brietbart article the highlighted NBC link next to it as a reference doesn't mention in the article or the video. now whether they cut it off the end of the video, or removed it from their article is another story That's correct. Breitbart fabricated the quote claiming it came from the NBC interview and provided a link to it. There is nothing in that article saying anything about H1B visas and nowhere in the article does Biden say “The people coming on these [H-1B] visas have built this country." Breitbart just got busted right here in GLP for fake news again.
