Boulder County extends mask order indefinitely as officials report 5 more positive or probable cases

Boulder County has extended its mask order indefinitely, as the county continues to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

The county also reported five more positive cases or cases that are considered probably in new data released Monday.

The extended mask order requires face coverings for every person older than 12 years old whenever in public anywhere in Boulder County that social distancing of six feet cannot be maintained.

The order had been set to expire on Tuesday, but according to a release from Boulder County Public Health, the mask order will now remain in place indefinitely...

We have mandatory masks here in Nepal.. not really local but just so you know the mask thing is going global...

Fwiw - i am on the fence with it's severity and for sure it is a programmed event anyway..... but i believe it is a real virus ... might not if it was a local thing but i don't get where a small country like Nepal fits into it when we have cases etc?

JUST SAY NO

All sorts of health issues wearing masks but the psychological effects are enormous. People have to see their energies interact with others. Masks separate people and make them suspicious of each other. There are also ritualistic issues related to masks.

People are waking up, but will it be in time.

Before I retired I went on a lot of business trips, sometimes to Boulder. They had a lot of cute college girls dancing at the strip joints. Good times. But it just wouldn't be the same with masks. I guess a mask would work with a naughty nurse uniform.

Yep! Lots of BS happening these days concerning the face diaper usage. Before long we will be forced to wear them in our homes at all times. You literally can not eat nor drink with them on. Sooo... we are being murdered.

Exceptionally slowly the masses are waking up, OP. Too bad by the critical number has been achieved it will be much, much too late to do anything about the face diaper thing. Either you comply or you will be annihilated by the cops. Plain and simple.

We have workmen next door. They have been putting in a new heating system.

Hubby went out at lunchtime to talk to them and see how it was going. They were wearing masks and one of the guys took his mask off and showed how they don't protect very well. He had dust all over his face below his nose and on his chin. These are the N95 masks that are supposed to be so good.


We're supposed to wear a cloth mask out when we go to the store or any place like a Dr's office or anywhere, actually. I don't have much faith in these masks.

I live about 30 miles from Boulder and I see mask extension to happen all over colorado.. I am having a friend make me two masks which I can wash which will do nothing ... except get wet from my breathe.. but I am not going to have problems with police and others..I carry paper masks in my back pack just in case... I am forced.. but those as throw aways.

You know.. with AIDS.. you were told a condom would work.. will they don't... they are porous enough to pass AIDS.. about as porous as a basket ball hoop for ping pong balls... masks have to be porous enough to BREATHE thru.. so no they aren't very good.. any of them.

Yep. Terrifyingly quite alot of Texans are doing their best to force face masks onto other Texans. So many people are willing to murder each other the face mask BS. It is almost exclusively those who willingly wear their face masks who are being increasingly more irrational. I have been equating these willing face mask wearing fools to the Vaxxer Movement. Noone is rational anymore in both "Movements". Soon enough there will be mass murders of both Movements. They will come out armed and murder you in real life should you decline your vaccine and/or to wear your face mask.

Boulder has been a socialist paradise since the 1960s. No surprises here. They certainly will not be deterred by the recent admission by Tony Fauci that the case fatality rate is under one percent, world wide. The actual number is .04 percent, I guess Fauci was not lying, just understating the facts. The fatality rate in places that did not lock down is 75 percent lower than the places with strict socialist lock downs.

Masks arent about protecting ourselves as much as protecting others.

I have no problem putting one on or covering up as I get close to someone else, especially an older person.

In 1917 they stayed home, covered up and distanced until they found a cure.

In 2020 some are now programmed to think measures and a vaccine are worse than the virus, or worse: believe its fake.

No way my words even reach the white matter of those who think Covid doesn't exist. Unfortunate.

We can slow this down in its tracks if we distance, and wear masks but everyone has to try. And....it probably won't happen...and we will probably be stuck in this situation for longer than we need to be.

Personally, I only wear one when I know I will be in proximity to others who arent in my household.

I have formal education and a degree, plus decades worth of experience working in science and medicine. I side with the institutional medical advice on this particular issue, which I know is very hard for many of you, too (me too, sometimes)

I think the real conspiracy isnt about control via masks/vaccines but involve foreign agents dividing us by removing stability and creating issues that get us fighting over issues like masks and defunding our police.

You made sense every now and then in your post, AC. Either the face diapers work or they do not. There is no in between. It is easily proven by alot of people out there already that face masks do not work in the fashions Team Bill Gates keeps telling us over and over again. Boulder = leftist paradise. It’s the Portlandia of the Rockies. Big Democrat fund raising stronghold. They probably need the masks to conceal identities, beat facial recognition tech. They got all teched up there, and now that tech is working against them.

Thanks for not yelling at least. Im not a Bill Gates fan. Vaccines are developed by several organizations, not just one, and I don't see a better game plan. The herd immunity threshold is still in debate because we are only months in with subpar field research right now.

I hadn’t seen this comment when I made mine. But obviously other people understand this too. Gargle came in there and built a campus a few years ago. And groups in Boulder were pioneering all kinds of tracking tech, beginning with smart meter tech. The town was and is stuffed with trans leaders and operatives. I started noticing really weird stuff going on and made the mistake of talking to the wrong people about it. Got fired from job after some ass-kicking gang stalking. I left Colorado because of what was going on in Boulder. Heard it’s a “company” town, and tactics like stalking were being practiced there on “dissident” citizens... Meaning anyone not supporting the lgbtqs.
