I am sure there are some former poor people who escaped the ghetto through hard work and education who would give a big sigh of relief at not having the criminal underclass moving in next door them via affirmative action housing. Portsmouth, Virginia is 53% black. When I bought my house 15 years ago my neighborhood was about 70% white, 25% black and 5% others. It was never a crimeless, gated community but it was a nice neighborhood before section 8 took over.

Today it is about 75% black, my home value keeps going up (along with the taxes) but try selling a home with hookers and drug dealers on every other corner. The corner store looks like something you'd see in downtown Chicago on a Friday night.

It's turned into an absolute shit hole. It's not fair to those of us that INVEST in our communities to have people come in and wreck it and have their bills paid by the tax dollars of the people trying to keep the place safe and family friendly.

This completely destroyed my subdivision. Gang members and drug dealers are taking over here. I live in a small town that grows corn and soybeans. They moved in the section 8 folks when O'buttplug was Prez. Had two gang land shootings on my street last month. They shot up the house two doors down on the corner, nearly killing the couple who lived there. They shot up the wrong house. The next weekend they shot up the drug dealers house across the street. Right house, but they didn't kill the kid they were trying to kill. Got him in the Taco Bell parking lot the next day though. The gang got evicted from the house the next day after they killed the corect person.

This is section 8 in action. Moving all the violent criminals into white subdivisions. Just great, buying a house 17 years ago brand new and now its worth less than when I bought it in 2003. All the origional homeowners moving the fuck out, so nothing left but scum bags. Great idea, huh.
