What is the major factor are how many times in your lineage the consenting or non consenting contributing partners are genetically related. This is from my own observations. True a high IQ is no guarantee that one will be wealthy and successful in life but a low IQ is a guarantee that one will not become a brain surgeon or stock broker on Wall street. At least with a high IQ you have a chance of being successful in life but you have no chance if you have low IQ as most good paying jobs require an above average IQ to do. Not even affirmative action will promote a borderline retard to medical school. You can argue all you want leftists how IQ tests are culturally or racially biased but at the end of the day who ever scores low on those IQ tests will not do well academically at school as schooling is all about test taking. Most of the time you don't need an IQ test to tell you whether someone is a moron or not. All you need to do is look at how they act the majority of the time. I think the problem is the high iq shipped a lot of well paying but mindless low iq jobs overseas so they could make bank. The low iq could exist in America in a factory pumping out widgets mindlessly. The high iq said we are now going to be a service economy so you better get smart and get an education. Well, that puts the low iq out of work, or working at a fast food joint for slave wages. That's true and unfortunately there is no cure yet for a low IQ. You are effectively screwed unless you come from a wealthy powerful family who can help you out by giving you some useless job in the family business where you do little or no work. We all know of people who are in make work positions because of family connections. They contribute very little but get a pay check for doing it. |
