Here in Washington state the way they're doing it is employers accept exempt but are looking for alternatives like face shields while dept of labor and industry has the power to compel your records and to fine the businesses for noncompliance either way.

She further indicates that I have a prescribed emotional support device that may be often carried upon my hip that should be of n concern. She explains to the reader that the best course of action is to treat the patient courteously and maintain social distance. She also adds that making eye contact can aggravate the patients condition.

I haven't been asked to produce the letter yet, I simply say no thank you when asked to don a mask. However, I am eager to see the faces on those demanding one.

That is exactly why stores are implementing that policy. Its not the fact that you "Did" get it from that store. If someone accuses the store of spreading or giving someone the virus they have to defend themselves. In America it is just the opposite of what is said as it is guilty until proven innocent. The cost of litigation comes in when you try to defend yourself against even a bullshit accusel, not that you or your store did anything but, the simple defense of the accusation.
