It doesn't matter what you set on your phone, it can all be overridden remotely. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

They had some rather strict rules about gringo's owning land in Mexico. The normal method of getting around the law was the use of long term leasing-which is legal. Not sure what the immigration status/requirements are. Not sure I would try Panama but those I knew who went there did not complain. Lots of expats in Panama.
