Re: It's KARMA: Remember "The Davinci Code:" Anyone else disappointed in the news about author Dan Brown's "fall from Grace
Notice that only Dan Brown’s “The Lost Symbol” book was NOT made into a movie. Why?

Because it deals with Freemasonry and the founding of this country. Too sensitive a topic to bring to the big screen. Brown, being an American, was sensitive about angering the many “factions” in the U.S. who would take great offense at his assertions. His other books deal with theories regarding faraway lands. The Lost Symbol hits home. Hence the reticence to make into a movie.

Books are one thing; movies are quite another, with regard to reach and influence.

Re: It's KARMA: Remember "The Davinci Code:" Anyone else disappointed in the news about author Dan Brown's "fall from Grace
Dan Brown plagiarized "The Holy Blood and the Holy grail" - the authors of that book and the "The Messianic Legacy" lost the court case, but I believe Dan Brown stole their research 100%. Read those books and make up your own mind.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77988686

There was a court battle about this alleged copying mentioned
in the Newsweek article. The courts found for Brown against
the other author--not sure what the basis for that aquittal
involved.

cheers
 Quoting: SaintPattysPug

The basis for the acquittal was that conviction would have essentially made it criminal for writers to research nonfiction material to prepare for writing a work of fiction.

Note that while The DaVinci Code is fiction, Holy Blood Holy Grail is not.

And before that , was the story called Jesus Christ superstar
made into broadway show and movie in mid 1970’s
Webber and Rice. Brilliant and controversy over implying that
Jesus and Mary loved each other and did have union so to speak
Just thinking I mite be wrong tho ~ Thank u !

That was a cool movie...but not nearly as controversial
as Brown's "The DaVinci Code." I remember that song:
"I don't know how to love him." It was very moving...but
I am sure it made many people angry since it goes against
the narrative.

Neither one of them came up with the theory of Jesus and Mary’s relationship. Speculation about that has been around for years and I read about a lot of the same stuff in the DaVinci Code in the 1980’s in a book called Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Edit: I just saw the comment about the authors of that book lost a lawsuit with Brown?! That’s insane! He clearly stole his idea from that book!

Dan Brown hates the Catholic Church and it was a matter of time before it came back and bit him hard. You cannot attack and mock GOD and get away with it forever.

Remember Dan Brown wrote that Christ had sex and was married with descendants. These are the movies where I started disliking Tom Hanks.

 Quoting: THNKuCLLR

Really glad you asked this question, THNKuCLLR!

The Free Masons and the Church (in my opinion) blocked
any efforts to make "The Lost Symbol" (as Brown intended it)
to become a movie...it was no accident!

The whole question about the NOT making of a movie for Dan Brown's
book "The Lost Symbol" had several GLP threads back in 2015
and 2016 after it was announced that several studios had
bid for the rights to make a film from the novel but was
scrapped in 2013.
It appears that NOW A T.V. SPECIAL will
be made for "The Lost Symbol" and be called: "Langdon"
(after the original character from "The DaVinci Code"
played by Tom Hanks--Professor Langdon.) There is no date
or cast announced yet.

I had my own theory about why the film never made it to
the big screen--that being the ancient 12,000 year old symbol
the Egyptians called "The Argha Noa" (an orb with a small
crest beneath it) I feel was Brown's ORIGINAL LOST SYMBOL TARGET
was a very well-kept-secret-symbol held by BOTH the Church
and the Free Masons. The symbol holds a guarded secret that
reveals that the earth has undergone many "resets" (mainly
by the sun but also from what is called "Galactic Superwaves"
on a 12,000 year repeating cycle) NOT KNOWN TO THE MASSES.

Thread: Movie "The Lost Symbol" w/Tom Hanks May be "Pulled" Due to Vatican/Masonic Pressure? Video
You can get the whole skinny in this thread (in the GLP
archives) that goes into where the symbol originated
and why it is important at this point in history that
the symbol be revealed and be completely understood for
the "doom" it represents!

Here is part of that introduction:

Post #2 Introduction continued from Post #1

So...we have established that the 2 symbols "The Ra
Symbol" and "The Argha Noa" share 1,000s of years of
past history and cross many cultures to come forward to
us as "candidates" for Dan Brown's target-symbol.

waMONMNTwFlare
The Heavens above the Washington Monument on
September 15, 2009, the publication release date
Dan Brown picked for his novel (was this part of
a "clue-crumb" left for his fans to find the "lost
symbol" for themselves, since he had been blocked?)

Now, check the Heavens above the Vatican on Christmas!

WhatPopeSeas
The skies above the Vatican porch, where Pope
Francis would have greeted the faithful for
Christmas services this past year. Do you see any
similarities here? One that STANDS OUT THE BEST
IMO is the Pleiades constellation and the Orion
constellation...But there is even MORE we can glean
from these 2 obelisks-pointing-at-the-sky at two
important locations of "secret Brotherhoods!"

1. That the Masons AND THE VATICAN may share the same
"secret symbol"--and Dan Brown may have found it.
The Orb and 1/2 crescent.
AND
2. That the obelisk history not only points to the stars
of Orion, the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades...but that
with the new discoveries coming out of "Gobekli Tepe"
archeological dig in Turkey--these star constellations
all pull together the story of the 12,000 year cycle of
the "Galactic Super Wave" that gives the Earth a global-
"reset" and "levels the playing field." If these 2
secret organizations KNOW THIS INFORMATION and have a
"bead-on-the-timing" for the NEXT wave, but are keeping
this for "privileged eyes only"--THAT could "change
history!"

MY "TAKE" ON THE STRANGE CHANGE IN DAN BROWN'S BOOK
FROM "INVESTIGATIVE FREE-MASON'S SYMBOL-HUNT" TO
A "INGRATIATING" NOVEL CELEBRATING FREE MASONRY:"

That Dan Brown...with all of his flaws on a "human level"
was able to even get the word out about the "lost symbol"
(even if blocked by the Masons against a blockbuster film
to even upstage "The Davinci Code"...) some of his fans
were able to follow him down the rabbit hole to find the
SECRET of the Egyptian "Argha Noa." Humanity is preparing
for what's coming up in space weather thanks in part to the
encouragement from Brown's novel "The Lost Symbol."

cheers
S.P.Pug

Dan Brown's REAL "lost symbol" can be seen in this
NASA photo of the impact of Comet Levy-9 on Jupiter!
The orb with a crescent below it is truly a "doom symbol"
and if you know what you are looking at...you understand
why "the lost symbol" would never see the big screen!
CometImpact1994
"The tell-tale scar--the Argha Noa Symbol shape--can be
seen clearly in this screen shot from the video (above)

I'm surprised he wasn't outed as an Illuminati shill just based on his books.

Angels & Demons - The Illuminati are described as scientists persecuted by the Catholic church

The DaVinci Code - Jesus has affair with Mary Magdalene

The Lost Symbol - The Masons are just misunderstood

Inferno - Culminates with a plague inflicted on the world that causes sterility which can not be stopped

lol! Reading can be a challenge some days...

Here, try this article...or better yet, another real
life story (Besides Dan and Blythe Brown's "woman behind
the man's success story" with the Youtube trailer below!)

[link to www.theguardian.com (secure)]

If this is in fact the real truth behind Brown's novels
...and it hasn't actually been PROVEN totally yet...news
is just coming forward...but IF IT IS TRUE it totally
reminds me of the same situation the wonderful artist
who came up with the "CHILDREN WITH BIG EYES" whose
husband took all the credit for the artwork.

There was a movie made about their collaboration which
at first was to help the woman get more coverage for her
art because "he was a man" and would get more sales than
a female artist would (that was in the 60's and 70's.)

Here is the trailer about Margaret Keane--artist who
started the "big eyed children" art fad:

[link to youtu.be (secure)]
FairUSE

Maybe Mrs. Brown thought that the books would sell better
if Dan Brown said he wrote them...and then she had her
regrets like Margaret Keane eventually would have? Who
Knows! Will be interesting to see if Ron Howard does a
new movie about Dan Brown's wife coming forward to take
credit for all his novels?
He doesn't even need to write
a script...just copy the Margaret Keane movie! It's sad.

He — and/or his wife — plagiarized info to write “The DaVinci Code” from “Holy Blood, Holy Grail” written two decades earlier by Henry Lincoln, Richard Leigh, and Michael Baigent.

How the authors of “Holy Blood, Holy Grail” lost their lawsuit against Dan Browneye is unbelievable.

Actually it’s believable when you understand that very powerful interests wanted “The DaVinci Code” to be written and marketed to as wide a readership/audience as possible.

Don't mock God...Don't mess with "Mother Nature" or

I still do believe there is a good deal more "juice" to
discuss concerning BOTH Dan Brown's current personal crisis
as well as his (and his talented wife's) HUGE contribution
to literary and entertainment creations in their decades-long
careers. Maybe we can do a 2nd thread when more information
comes forward from the drama for the Browns in the weeks
ahead. I pray Dan Brown is able to salvage his very tarnished
image because he is a really talented author who has much
more to give.

Thanks for that excellent summary! lol!

Re: It's KARMA: Remember "The Davinci Code:" Anyone else disappointed in the news about author Dan Brown's "fall from Grace
Go to southern France. Everywhere it’s the Virgin this, Magdalen that. Cults of the Virgin Mary.

Cathars. Languedoc. Rennes le Chateau. France was the birthplace of the Knights Templar. The power of Europe was so concentrated in France that for 67 years the Papacy relocated to Avignon, France.

Let those who are skeptical remain in darkness. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

I highly recommend reading “Holy Blood, Holy Grail”. It’s the “meat” of the research. The DaVinci Code is the commercialized version created for a much wider audience.

DAN BROWN: “Relax. It’s just a story.”

(Meanwhile, everyone is reading it and it pervades the consciousness of the world).
