Yeah I was wondering about that. They were hawking that shit for $20 a square foot before the covid shit now all of the sudden you can't walk 10 feet without bumping into a wall of it.

When this shit is over I'm going to buy it all up and make a greenhouse out of it - something you couldn't have afforded to do last year.

Just checked Ebay and there are tons of alcohol wipes for sale at decent prices. They work great for diabetics.

That's crazy, make your own sanitizer for what? I ordered a gallon of 70% alc hand sanitizer made in USA and there was plenty more. FTW?

Vodka often isn't high enough proof. However, a little bird told me if you put salt in your vodka, a purer version will float to the top and separate. And it did work the first time I did it. The second time I did it, I waited too long to siphon it off and it evaporated because it was too pure.

People, you need to be prepped for almost any eventuality, and if you are not, do not think you will come and take the goods from people who did have the sense to be prepared. I'm sorry alcohol is hard to find - I have only one bottle myself and it was the last bottle on the shelf of my pharmacy. Use the substitutes suggested, and meanwhile keep looking everywhere. Ask Irl friends in other towns to be looking, as well, and get together with them, meet halfway, or send them postage to mail it. There are ways, but won't be for much longer. Prep, people. Darn it, PREP!!!

The Meijers by me has bleach and TP and so forth... but still no 70% alcohol. Or 90% for that matter.

A couple weeks ago they DID have an endcap near the pharmacy section half full of off brand gallon sized jugs of 70%. I should have grabbed one when I had the chance. All gone, no restock.

Chemical suppliers sell 20L drums for $99.

Cheap plastic bottle in bulk are a dime a dozen.

Shit, you can't even find a dime, nickel or penny at your facking gas station. How do you take apart freedom? Lock it down in the name of safety and if that is not enough, unleash a social calamity...in the name of freedom.

Diabetes would be a horrible disease to have, especially in current world conditions, and they deserve decent treatment, just like the rest of us. Shame on you!!

Vodka is a sugar.

The last thing you want to do is jab a needle cleaned with sugar into a brittle type 1 diabetic.

Need a better solution.

My mom uses an insulin pump. Cleaning off the affected area with Vodka is a really bad idea.
