Just saw lightning bugs outside. First time in years.
I remember them as a kid. Maybe saw a few in the years after but none for a decade at least here. With the fireworks going off there were lightning bugs everywhere just now. Last real memory of a lot of them like now was 1980's 4th of Julys.

Does this mean I am dying or something?

They never disappeared here. Bees can disappear in waves largely due to mites or insecticides.

Haven't seen a bee or a wasp in years either. Shit maybe I am in a 5g pilot zone or something. Got plenty of spiders every year I lived everywhere. They don't care about shit.

I have seen them a while now.All over in my yard.Fucks with me at times when outside walking around in pitch black because some come light up right between my eyes lol
