In Greek Anti-christ means either, one who puts himself in the place of, or the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah.

This Man of Lawlessnes puts himself in the place of Jesus Christ Yeshua saying: You are saved through my brand of Christianity!!!

He will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. (2 Thes 2:4).

What is the temple of god?
Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? (1 Cor 3:16).
