Commentary: It Is Time to Break Up Nashville

The most charitable thing anyone can say about Nashville right now is that the city is a dumpster fire. It isn’t just a small dumpster fire. It is a stinking, raging fire that is going to get out of hand if nothing is done about it.

Break Nashville up into a dozen small cities.

Mayor Cooper doesn’t want to support the businesses suffering right now because they are not his constituency. The rioters are. If Nashville were broken up into small cities, those businesses would be receiving help. They would be allowed to re-open and they would receive police protection to help them stay open.

If Nashville were a dozen small cities, the financial mismanagement would be sharply reduced. Most of those small cities would be much better run. A couple of them would still be dumpster fires but at least the damage from that would be much more manageable. Each small city would have its own leadership and budget, and each would be more manageable.

There must be some penalty for bad leadership.

No worries OP! Islam wants to help you out! Remember, they said they will nuke the city this very month, so you should wait it out with anticipation.

Re: Commentary: It Is Time to Break Up Nashville
I live literally on ground zero near Vanderbilt. My lot is worth over 600k even without a house on it. I'd cash out and leave now but have nowhere to go. I planned this pretty carefully 15 years ago, knowing the core here would eventually gentrify and become LA lite, which is where we are now. On my block, at least 8 houses have Antifa/BLM signs in front. Many mixed couples around here and lot of wealthy hippie types. The former Mayer is down the street a few blocks.

I'm miserable, I'm the only conservative I know in the neighborhood. Nobody likes me or talks to me. They all want Marxism while they enjoy their million dollar plus homes. I'm the only one in the area still in the original small cottage. Now the vultures come and try to force me out, just watch.

Sell it before the market bursts and move about an hour south where there are lots of conservatives. You can get a whole farm for $600K. But better do it fast because I think a lot of people are fleeing the cities and moving here.

After 28 years in Nashville I did this! Nashville went from awesome to unlivable (for me anyway). Bought a beautiful home on 40 acres in northern Giles and love it. Have a fantastic view and a much better quality of life!

Do you want a pity party? Sell your shit and gtfo if it’s worth $600k. You say you have nowhere to go, pffft! You can move 30 mins south and be a lot happier. I think your story is BS btw!

Kamala Harris is not a Natural Born Citizen. She's illegally running.

Used by the Founders...
Book I of The Law of Nations, Chapter XIX, § 212 (Joseph Chitty numbering) – “Citizens and natives”
reads: 'The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to
its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in
the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by
the children of the citizens
, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all
their rights.' 1758 Emerich de Vattel

Oh' What the Hell, do I look like I want to die in some nursing home one day...
America must have 4 new Constitutional Amendments...
1. Drug Tests and Mental Evaluations on all politicians and judges randomly five times per year.
2. Term Limits for Federal politicians and judges.
3. Mental and health standards for Supreme Court Justices and retirement age set.
4. A 'Star Chamber' of elected Natural Born Citizens (no attorney's) to ivestigate, try, and prosecute the politicians and government employee's as they see fit.

Mandatory death penalty by public hanging is the merciful sentence for pedos and their associates.

Democrats are a WMD, literally.

Sounds to me like it's peaking, this would be a time to sell if you can get that much $$. Besides the area being more than fully priced, construction costs will only go up post-Covid. The value of your lot is the value of a finished McMansion minus the cost to tear down your cottage and build that McMansion.

That's my guess.
 Quoting: oniongrass

Far from peaking. Nashville will have no peak. Everyone wants to move here. People are wait listed for homes. Million dollar homes sell in days. If you're one of those wealthy liberal millennials from NY or LA with two toddlers, this city s heaven. Literally the entire neighborhood is people from somewhere else with two kids. Many of them own second homes. This area used to be kid free; the families would buy on the Vandy side of 21erst south, thats where the elementary schools are and the playgrounds. Now it's anything goes anywhere in the core.

I'll leave as soon as I can either relocate or I'm offered the horses head in the bed buyout I call it. Someone will offer me twice the actual value of the property just because they want it bad enough. I had targeted Tulsa as a new option, but then I heard that's been taken over by New Yorkers and people from LA as well, so that's not for me either. I need a very conservative place. I liked cities before the scum took them over. I'm thankful I got to live in a couple of them before liberals ruined them with their horrific blood sacrifices.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78686355

Tulsa has a couple very nice streets of old stately houses just south of downtown near the river. This is an unusual opportunity as cities go. Take your buyout and pick up one of those old mansions.
