China warns US against ‘deeply provocative’ deployment of warships to South China Sea
CHINA warned the US at the weekend against sending warships to the South China Sea.

The government said that the “deeply provocative” plans threatened regional stability at a time when tensions were escalating between the two nations.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi insisted that the US naval build-up was “the only cause of destabilisation in the region” after Washington announced plans to carry out manoeuvres in the disputed waters.

US military spokesman Joe Jeiley insisted that the deployment of two aircraft carriers USS Nimitz and USS Ronald Reagan do not pose a threat … or respond to any political or global events.”

But it comes after China announced plans for its own exercises near the Paracel Islands, disputed archipelagos that are also claimed by Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei.

Mr Wang said that Beijing was entitled to carry out exercises in the strategic waterway.

“The Paracel Islands are indisputably Chinese territory, and our military has every right to conduct manoeuvres within the country’s sovereignty,” he said.

The deployment of two aircraft carriers is unlikely to be a coincidence coming so soon after Beijing’s declaration.

Last week the US State Department confirmed it was monitoring developments in the region.

A Pentagon statement last Thursday said: “Conducting military exercises over disputed territory in the South China Sea is counterproductive to efforts at easing tensions and maintaining stability.”

China keeps threatening everyone in their cross hairs. There's no way to avoid a war with these assholes!!!!
Xi thinks he's a god and is flexing his little muscle.
The U.S. has one option only, First Strike.
When the time is right, do it. Otherwise we will have incoming missiles and ground troops hitting our shores along with Taiwan, and the rest of Southern Asia. Its unavoidable with the way things are right now. Its stand up and fight or die.

Re: China warns US against ‘deeply provocative’ deployment of warships to South China Sea
The Americans have simply lost nothing in this part of the world, there is no reason to stay there, let alone carry out military maneuvers. So it's just provocation again. However, China's reaction to it is stupid, because then the provocation is working.

And by the way, yes, some parts of the sea are controversial between different states; but that still has nothing to do with the Americans.

What always bothers me about the Americans is that they cannot handle "Whoever hands out, must also be able to take it". The best, if at the same time the most dangerous, was seen in the Cuban Missile Crisis: there was so little joy that the Russians did exactly the same thing as themselves (missile deployment; then in Italy and Turkey). That is to say, the Americans are extremely sensitive when it comes to their own "front yard" or "backyard", for example when other powers in Venezuela support Maduro or just set up a few rockets with the good old Fidel back then.

To come back to the topic: I would like to see the Americans breathing in their breath when the Chinese would conduct a marine maneuver off their coast, between Hawaii and San Diego. I bet Trump was going to rumble towards the Third World War.

The Americans may have lost nothing in theory, but the sea lanes China seeks to control are of vital strategic and economic importance to the United States, all of Southeast Asia and Australasia.

All of these countries are right in being concerned about the possibility that if China is able to deploy military assets at strategic locations in and around the sea lanes I mention, there is a risk that China could cut off civilian shipping in the area on a whim.

The recent actions of China, and its belligerent tone, plus the hawkish outlook of the US government, lead me to think that a major war, probably a world war, is a very real possibility.

And if it is true that the coronavirus is a biological weapon released against the US and its allies, then it’s clear that it was not only the opening salvo of the war, but intended to weaken and confuse China’s enemies.

China is a bitch whose brand new buildings and dams are already falling apart. Their military is so corrupt even the CCP leadership does not believe they can fight an actual war. They have 0 ability to invade anyone across the seas and would probably get SMOKED by Japan S Korea and Taiwan because the chinese people are mostly barbarians. Not to mention Xi Jin Ping is a more pigly version of Winnie the Pooh
