What would happen in Chicago if the police was totally defunded?

I betcha it wouldn't be half as bad as you think. Most people are good and want to live in peace.

Right now criminals are allowed by the police and prosecutors and the judiciary to run wild. It is not uncommon to see the same people arrested over and over dozens and dozens and dozens of times and quickly let go to terrorize the public again. All major cities operate this way.

I imagine that cities would initially descend into anarchy and many would initially flee. But criminals are a minority and people would get tired of it and begin executing criminals.

I think it would reach a state of equilibrium that wouldn't be much worse, if any worse, than the way it is now in major crime-infested cities.

Remember, the concept of modern policing is only around a few hundred years old and humans have existed in societies for thousands of years and seemed to be able to deal with it.

In reality, police forces where instituted as a societal control to protect those in power.

I'm all for it. Let this social experiment take place cuz otherwise there is no shutting up the the idiot liberals. I think total defunding will bring full blown congo to Chicago BUT I don't see a down side.

Democrats can't say it wasn't tried, the country can see how retarded defunding police in a inner city is, and we get a bunch of thugs killed off either by themselves or people that just had enough of their lives mattering so much,
