But let's examine the reasons for the value in numbers.

1. To justify biological weapon (WMD) records. Not the first time those figures were inflated. But in wartime this is psychological warfare against the enemy.

2. To justify spending. Common use of government budgeting. In accounts payable for institutions it is mandatory to spend the money allocated or it is taken away. So the procedure encourages budget managers to inflate and manipulate their budgets.

3. As an exercise. Since a biological weapon has been used it will happen again. If doctors and hospitals are trained we have a better chance of surviving the next attack. Another funding issue for training and experience.

4. We are under attack. By a Foreign Force that does not follow Rules of LAW. To defend against the attack we must make it seem like it's huge. Therefore we can counter-attack in the same proportion.

After 2h 75 % of people are positive. 15 mins are enough to get infected in closed buildings. Your parents wasted 1h 45 min of their lives...
