I got the eat all your food on your plate, that could feed a starving African family for a week. Lots of hard smacks across the back of the head.

I did tell my son, shut up and eat your food. Somewhere in the world a little kid has nothing to eat. And you are crying and complaint about eating food. Of course I explained to him eating vegetables and healthy foods are good for his growth and brain.

Today at ten years old. Some of his favorite foods are sardines, broccoli, red beets, carrots. The only thing he complains about is spinach, but I give it to him in small amounts. And he still eats. Kid eats everything. Think about it; sardines and even anchovies.

And yes I have introduced him to ALL foods. Snacks, sugar crap, unhealthy crap. At Halloween he usually forgets about his trick or treat bag after a week. He gets tired of all the sugar and never finishes.

But his little brain will tell him, eat this, it is good for you. That was the plan in the beginning and it worked.
