Arrowhead stadium always sells out and it’s in the middle of trump country. The Chiefs and Mahomes bring the highest ratings of any team in the NFL outside of the Cowboys. They just paid the Michael Jordan equivalent of Football 500 million in his prime. Mahomes is the face of the league and the NFL isn’t going anywhere. NFL game ratings blow the doors off of the 24 hour news networks and Hannity/Tucker/Maddow/Lemon don’t even bring in 1/16th of the Viewing audience

The NBA mostly doesn't come close to NFL TV ratings. The Jordan era playoff games were comparable to a good night for a regular season NFL game. NBA stadiums are less than half as big. But the NBA plays way more games per season, 82 in the regular season, with playoff teams playing between iirc 4 and 28 more games.

Whereas NHL tv ratings in the US, even for the Stanley Cup are often comparable to reruns of Wheel of Fortune on The Game Show Network.

Tickets are cheap. You can get upper level seats for 35-45 dollars a pop for the Super Bowl champs. 75-100 for lower level and 150 for club seats. Very affordable. Parking is only 20 bucks and stadium food is irrelevant because everyone tailgates in the parking lot from 5am-kickoff And then again from 3-5pm after the game.
