i love summer rain. thunder and lightening

we dont get it where i live..


ill pass on the humidity.. but the summer rain and thunder and lightening is almost worth it


perfect weather if i had to choose in the US..puget sound area..

not much snow
not too hot
low humidity
rains enough to stay dripping green in the forests..

I'm been using my lawn irrigation system. It's been very hot and dry. We needed the rain! After the rain, it cooled down and the sun came out. All is good. Never lost power.

Glad to hear it nutmeg. I didn't either in NJ but lost satellite tv.

Heatwave in Oklahoma too. For the next week to 10 days, central Oklahoma will be seeing temps in the triple digits, and that is without the heat index, which will be much higher. My family and I will be really suffering in our 20 ft travel trailer that gets like an oven.

Buy those new 99 dollar portable high tech coolers they advertise on youtube. They look awesome, I'm going to buy a few in case of the blackout. You should also have a solar recharger if you live in a trailer.

Speaking of weird weather, has anyone else noticed that there aren't any flies or mosquitoes this year?

Usually starting in June, it is brutal around 7 pm with mosquitoes. Also, no black flies this year, come to think of it. Hubby and I were talking about this earlier today- the only insects we've seen are bees, to which a blueberry orchard around the corner use for their blueberry bushes, a few hornets, a couple of moths and butterflies.

It dawned on me today that we weren't swatting ourselves on the 4th of July while setting off fireworks in our yard. We even go swimming at night, and no mosquitoes have bothered us.

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I hate the little bastards, lol. I just find it so odd!

I have a loved one that works in Philly and is moving there soon. Not a good time to do this, but what can you do?

The thunder and lightning was really scary! I looked out the closed patio door and never saw lightning so wide. It looked close, too! South Jersey here.

Shit is as chaotic as I've ever seen it.

Storms close to each other in the USA headed in all different directions.

Seeing storms move to the north and the west,when they normally move to south,SE,or east.

Floods nearly worldwide.

Tornadoes nearly worldwide.

Snow in odd places.

A coupla of volcanoes.

Mama damn sure don't seem to be too happy lately.
