White House Chief of Staff hinted that President Trump might sign an executive order that relates to China, among other issues.
The U.S. military “will continue to stand strong in relationship to a conflict between India and China or anywhere else,” a top White House official has said, after the Navy deployed two aircraft carriers to the strategic South China Sea to boost its presence in the region.

“The message is clear. We’re not going to stand by and let China or anyone else take the reins in terms of being the most powerful, dominant force, whether it’s in that region or over here,” White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows told Fox News on Monday.

“And the message is clear. Our military might stands strong and will continue to stand strong, whether it’s in relationship to a conflict between India and China or anywhere else,” Mr. Meadows said in response to a question.

Umm, yea all good and well until the real shooting starts, not skirmishes. The players need to pick sides so they all know who is on who's side. Russia hates China so it appears 3 on 1 so far. China ain't doing shit now as they know if push comes to shove...Russia, US and India together would make short work of them, so it is good we officially choose a side as it'll help put more pressure on China to behave.

Turkey is our NATO partner.

They shelled our troops in SYRIA.

They bought the S400 system from Russia.

They even offered to develop the S500.


Then they tested the S400 against AMERICAN MADE JETS.

They would need your technology, otherwise China will have a leg up on them. Technological superiority is a force multiplier.

With that technology comes trainers, maintenance, logistics and a protection force, inteligence and so forth.

If the US is serious about backing their claims, there will be thousands if not tens of thousands of boots on the ground.

And we all know that if one of those soldiers would even get a scratch, the public will want to see blood.

I have to say though, from what I read in the article and how I interpret it, the US is merely taking the political stance of siding with India. No talk of commitments, just "china bad, we stand with India. PS China we have guns too".

Remember before WW2 when there were signs that Germany would invade Poland and everybody was telling to Germany that they would 'stand by' Poland? Then Poland got invaded by Germany (and the USSR) and nothing happened?

This is kind of like that, all posturing, no substance. That doesn't mean it means nothing, but it's merely a writing on the wall for what's to come this decade.

If you ask me in the grand scheme of things China would be foolish to act now, it would just unite the US, the force most likely to check them, while it seems to be actively destroying itself right now. China is cunning, if I see it, they do as well. Unless China has multiple internal factors to commit to war, they will be patient. China understands that war is a commitment and not an act.

Plus unlike the other nationalities in the region, they are civilized.

Let's not mention their support right up to the minute when we invaded Iraq, forcing aircraft to turn back around. They've been a little to close to Russia & Iran. Turkey can go suck a big ol camel dick.

Every week we hear of 2 or 3 more aircraft carriers going over there. And its been going on for 6 weeks. I didn't know we were making them that fast.

They should buy the best military equipment at the best prices.

It's called the free market.

This country used to believe in it.

That's it, also they just sent an Apache and Chinook (both American) to Ladakh to support troops.... i guess when you are building up you buy cheaper then as your economy and military force grows you buy quality
