Most of the teachers, teacher's unions, and school administrators are Democrats. They want schools to open this fall without masks.

Most Democrats I know are fed up with wearing masks too.

Based on what I've heard about Pritzker's Covid19 orders for Illinois school attendance this fall, as draconian as it is that they expect children to wear masks for 6 hours a day, there is more draconian orders requiring children to remain seated in cubicles alone 6 feet apart from each other for the entire 6 hours while wearing masks. They will remain in their seats, no leaving for lunch, recess, gym, etc. for 6 hours a day.

This is no different than if they were going to lock them in closets all day long 5 days a week alone. It's going to feel like harsh punishment for the children. I can't believe any parents will tolerate this. It's insane. It's child abuse!
