Some of his close friends also had it. One of my co-worker's mom had it early on, nurse in Europe. Both had mild cases. I think I may have had it in January (3 days of crazy fever like I've never had before, felt like death, no energy at all), haven't got tested and won't, F that. Really think the whole world is in on a hoax? The virus is indeed real, and for most people it's not a big deal, but for the 20% who get it bad it's not a fun time. Never let a good crisis go to waste however. It's spreading around my community pretty quickly now, we were isolated before, fall is not going to be good. Been restocking and adding to the preps. |

I. have seen many cases and spoke to, in person, many patients with the virus. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74354459 I’m not here to say that it’s the end of the world, but it certainly is happening. 3.50 gave you a green for this.... I think its a 3.50 too. |

Strep throat can do that.. all high fever feels like death.. no matter the cause of it. Glad you didn't get tested though. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 9233880 United States 07/09/2020 03:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know a couple people that got sick and were tested positive. To me, they just had colds. One was a couple in their 60s, she worked in a nursing home. Both had mild colds One was my buddy, he had it and was down with a fever for a week then drinking like a fish with all of us at a wedding shortly after. This is a giant hoax. I live in the hottest spot in Indiana and everyone here is fine. they are faking like the hospitals are being overrun on the news but they're not even close. This is a hoax, it's being used because it's an election year and they're trying their best to kill the momentum that Trump created. I bet the 3 people I know just had a cold. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 77606890 United States 07/09/2020 03:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wanted to gather some data... Please be honest. If they were sick but were not tested it does NOT count. Quoting: Let's see... 150,000 people have died of COVID19 The total US population is over 20 MILLION. I trust you can do basic math? That is less then .01% of the total population so the odds are heavily in favor that you will NOT know someone. This is projected to kill 200,000 Americans by the end of the year. That is MORE then the US casualties in the Vietnam war. Do you know someone who died in the Vietnam war? Odds are NO... but does that mean these lives do not matter? Obviously NO. Common sense is sorely lacking from US citizens these days... So you agree that the response to a "pandemic", in which less then 0.01% of the total US population will die, was correct? Or you're advocating for more restrictions due to the mortality rate? |

Last week I couldn't even wear a mask for more than a minute or two. Walking to the bathroom I have to sit and hyperventilate for a couple minutes. I'm congested, runny nose, cough, lethargic. Haven't got tested yet, but I've never felt like this in my life & I'm 67. I'm trying to get the VA to allow me to get tested at home but they're morons. |

The globalist media could get vehicles outlawed overnight. The mainstream media needs to be shut off. |

Pleurisy, bronchitis, pneumonia and strep throat. Had a cough so bad once I couldn't breath. That's how I knew steroids would work on this. Sometimes the airways get inflamed. I have asthma as it turns out but usually only have problems around chemicals like ammonia. Antibiotics and steroids with steroid breathing treatments works great. Feel better almost immediately. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78559418 United States 07/09/2020 03:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My sister is an ER nurse in NJ. She normally works in the pulmonary dept but was transferred because of potential high demand. The ER was not overwhelmed. The virus is real but way overhyped. She said think bad flu season. She didn’t see any deaths but many came in with symptoms. My husband’s coworker’s daughter’s boyfriend tested positive. One old overweight guy at his job died but he had many other health issues. That’s all I’ve heard of. My county has had 1 death. |

Quoting: Monty Python He posted a thread about taking Cinchona Bark to get over it. Can't find the thread now. Yes he did.. I remember but I don't remember if he was tested or just made an assumption it was it. Any healthy immune system will get over it... How many times in life have those of us in our 70's been laid out by various fevers? My earliest in memory was MUMPS and MEASLES. I popped the measles rash about one day after I arrived at summer camp when I was 10 and spent the whole camp in the nurses cabin with fever and the rest of it. For respiratory stuff.. with productive cough.. or even very dry lungs... I have a nebulizer... and I put colloidal gold and silver and H2O2 into it since I don't usually know what I have. And if I have fever.. I make the fever higher.. lots of blankets and clothing etc... to help fight it. I do not try to lower the fever. I get over it faster if I let the fever do its magic. and remember coronaviruses are the most common cause of the common cold... And that they mutate... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76258093 When gyms were open, trainers would wear "oxygen inhibiting" masks to simulate a low oxygen environment to achieve hardcore workouts. I tried it, and it's definitely something you need to work towards. "Doesn't reduce oxygen" huh? Tell me then why hardcore athletes use it to simulate oxygen deprivation? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78171270 United States 07/09/2020 03:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 46 year old friend spent 37 days on a ventilator. Lived but not doing well. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63910814 Did they give him steroids? He would be able to breath again! Unbelievable. Even women who are pregnant and in danger of delivering early will be given a drug to help the infant develope its lung before its delivered. This whole thing is so terrifying because the medical establishment has lost its fucking mind! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78551315 United States 07/09/2020 03:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 18 people total. 17 co-workers (16 never had any symptoms, 1 had a low fever for 2 days). This was in the 2nd week of April. All 17 are fine and never needed any medical care. And my fiance, who tested positive 4 weeks ago (no symptoms at all - she only got tested because a co-worker of hers tested positive). Ironically, I tested negative 3 weeks ago and negative again 1 week ago even though we live together...so much for it being "very contagious". |
