POLL - Do you know anyone with COVID19? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75020952 United States 07/09/2020 04:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wanted to gather some data... Please be honest. If they were sick but were not tested it does NOT count. Quoting: Let's see... 150,000 people have died of COVID19 The total US population is over 20 MILLION. I trust you can do basic math? That is less then .01% of the total population so the odds are heavily in favor that you will NOT know someone. This is projected to kill 200,000 Americans by the end of the year. That is MORE then the US casualties in the Vietnam war. Do you know someone who died in the Vietnam war? Odds are NO... but does that mean these lives do not matter? Obviously NO. Common sense is sorely lacking from US citizens these days... So is reading comprehension you fucktard. The poll is do you know anyone with the BS. NOT do you know anyone who died from it. Are you trying to be this stupid? Or is it just unintentional? So Einstein, with a mortality rate of less then .005% and your ridiculous claim of 150k deaths, how many people had this BS? Can you liberally use your inflated sense of common sense and figure out the answer? While waiting for you to take off your socks and mittens let me give you some advice....turn off the MSM. Stop believing their propaganda. It is making you stupid. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78551315 17 co-workers (16 never had any symptoms, 1 had a low fever for 2 days). This was in the 2nd week of April. All 17 are fine and never needed any medical care. And my fiance, who tested positive 4 weeks ago (no symptoms at all - she only got tested because a co-worker of hers tested positive). Ironically, I tested negative 3 weeks ago and negative again 1 week ago even though we live together...so much for it being "very contagious". I've heard this a lot, one of my employee's girlfriend got it, they live together. Late 20's, she only had a minor cold and got over it... he didn't catch it from her, he and my entire company got tested and everybody came back negative. Know 3 others who caught it, all first responders in their 30's... were very sick but not hospitalized for a bit over a week and recovered. One of my clients had an outbreak where almost a hundred got sick and a few died. Friend of a friend (firefighter) spent a month on a ventilator, I never got an update but it sounded like he wasn't going to make it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72887140 United States 07/09/2020 04:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes. Brother had it. Very high fever for about four days. Weird cough, he said. Not in the lungs like normal chest cold, higher up like at the base of the throat, but still in the chest area. Sore throat, but mild. Fever and extreme lethargy were the most severe symptoms. Did not notice being short of breath, but wife could tell by the way he talked. He was having to take breaths between every two or three words. He didn't notice, but SHE did. She was alarmed. Called the doctor. Doctor referred him to be tested. Got tested, results positive. Come back in 4 weeks for antibody blood test (participate in research, they said). Symptoms continued at the same severity for about 3 more days. New symptoms came on...extreme itching in ankles and feet. No rash or other signs of irritation. Itching was "under" the skin, like nerve itching and it was severe. Third week, symptoms began to subside and things were getting better by the day, but suddenly lost taste and smell. Felt relatively normal by this time except for the loss of senses. That lasted for about five days before returning to normal. Now, fully recovered. This was in April. No one that was in contact with him got sick, neither wife nor son. He said his body emitted an odor that no one could smell but him. He could "smell" himself and to him, it smelled like "chemicals". This was before he lost his sense of smell. He was very shaken up by the experience. It was not like any illness he has ever had, he said. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79031780 Spooky. Exactly! Remember the council from one of the South American countries forced into “full hospital” and discovered it was empty. We are being played and I’m about done with the hoax. It’s obvious to anyone. There’s no pandemic. No sick people, no lines for tests or medical treatment. It’s a lie. |

Quoting: Butch DeFeo And I'm not sure I believe them, or the doctors who may have SAID they have COVID. And Seattle is still loaded with homeless people living in tents on the street. Why aren't they getting sick and dying? Looks fake to me. Do more than expected, take less than allowed. When dealing with a friend, if you aren't getting the short end, you're doing it wrong. We are forced to wear face masks when going into public. Quoting: Terrebonne . Thats why I loved Rand Paul's argument. Why is there a blanket response? Why and how is everyone on the same page? Its like the argument was passed down from the top... hmm Rand Paul is my Senator. There was reason the Dems tried to beat him up with baseball bat. My county - 121 total cases, no deaths. A YouTube friend also just recovered from COVID-19. I will link his video below. I personally know at least 10 people here in the UK that have tested positive for COVID-19, including my girlfriend. But... the symptoms massively vary.. for example, my girlfriend had what can only be described as a slight cold. Whereas I almost fucking died. Video here: |

One was hospitalized. He still has breathing issues. The other is fine now. My son was exposed to both of them and got tested. He was negative. Meanwhile, my daughter in law is a nurse's aide and has worked the COVID wards in 3 area hospitals. She says the number of patients is very small and she thinks something is fishy. I am considered high risk (asthma) and have been taking care of my 2 year old granddaughter since the outbreak started. My granddaughter and daughter in law live with me. I have never worn a mask and neither have they. I haven't been sick at all but did have a bad case of something around Thanksgiving. I just take vitamins C and D3 with zinc and started drinking tonic water a few times a day when HCQ was mentioned. I knew tonic water contained quinine. PJ |

I just take vitamins C and D3 with zinc and started drinking tonic water a few times a day when HCQ was mentioned. I knew tonic water contained quinine. I take Airborne, which has zinc and selenium, along with the C, magnesium, A, E, manganese. Then I take D/K capsules as well. Whenever I might have been exposed to a virus I take those two things a.m. and p.m. for 2-3 days and I never come down with it. If I run out and get exposed, slam - they don't seem to work once you are already sick. Funny, I also had something bad over Thanksgiving week and the following week as well. I was sick as all get out. I figured it was the flu because I had a fever and I NEVER get fevers, but then I never get the flu, either. I get colds pretty frequently. But some kid at work accidentally coughed right in my face and that was it (I had the D/K and took that, but was out of Airborne and couldn't get to the store). It really got in my lungs something fierce and I rattled when I breathed for 3-4 days. It flew through work and some people had to go to the hospital with it and several were on antibiotics for secondary infections. I didn't have to go to the doctor, but that was the sickest I had been in years. |
