Dream - knock at the door
Please interpret. I dreamed the front door had someone knocking at nighttime. I told my husband to answer it but he said, "no you." I walked to the door and it opened even though the locks were on. I pushed against the door to try and close it but it wouldn't close and something reached in and touched my foot.

Does this mean a new chapter in life is opening? I just had my final kid. I think this door means a new chapter is happening.

Re: Dream - knock at the door
Idk. Ive had the knocking thing too. Usually happens right as I'm drifting off to sleep. I even sit up to see if someone's there. It happens more than once sometimes and its very unsettling. Haven't had it in a while.

Let me interpret this very common dream for you:

The Company is running short of black budget and Ring doorbell is trying a new kind of marketing.

It was an unsettling dream. I felt something touch my foot which woke me up and I thought I felt it in real life. I remember here people talk about demons knocking.

The dark means the subconscious, the door means the entrance into the conscious and the house is the soul. Trying to close the door means I don't want to hear the message and I'm blocking it out.

Here are my 3 golden rules.

1. Dreams don't mean a shit

2. Dreams don't mean shit even after "explanation"

3. I fire back at will or whenever I feel like

4. I do not try to guess, interpret, wonder, ponder, daydream, exegesis, look shit up, decipher double speak or allegories

And I don't take hints

And I'm certainly not looking for clues.

I know what I need to now. I guess this is where firing back may start.

Don't try to apply reverse psychology.

I feel peace with myself. Any disturbance is exterior cause and I only need to check my past comms to know who may bee responsible.

dreams contains symbols. take apart your dream by listing the symbols. then find out what those symbols represent. then look at them all together to form one picture, one meaning overall, and that will be the message of your dream.

the symbols in your dream are:
1. front door
2. knock is 'for you'
3. knock at door
4. pushing against door
5. something touches your foot

Interpretations of the symbols:
1. front door = to see the 'front' of something in a dream indicates that you are expressing a desire to keep your distance. Questions to ask yourself: Are you being, or trying to be, someone that you are not? Are you overly concerned about how you come across to others and how they view you?

2. the back and forth between you and your husband likely indicates that the message of this dream is 'about you', not him, therefore the knock is 'for you', you get to deal with it yourself.

3. a knocking at the door, in a dream, indicates that the message of the dream is a 'wake up call'. much as would be a ringing alarm clock, in a dream. the message of this dream may be that its time for you to 'wake up' and take care of an important issue in your life. (what's the important issue? see #1)

4. pushing against the door to close it, may indicate your continual refusal to deal with whatever this issue may be in your life. See #1, as these are related. Question to ask yourself: do I try to distance myself from others, for any reason, and if so, is it actually healthy for me? are some changes needed?

5. the door wouldn't close, something reached in and touched your foot. this is an underlined and desperate plea from your subconscious to WAKE UP! and deal with this issue in your life. when we cannot get the message of a dream the first time around, it often repeats in a nightmare form. your dream here, rolled it all into one. that's telling you how very important it is that you understand the meaning of this dream, and act on it asap in your waking life.

--
Regarding your questions at the end.. This isn't the type of dream one would have if they were beginning something new in their life. However... the personal issue your subconscious is referring to in #1, could have to do with your views on being a new parent, perhaps fears of how others may view your abilities, etc.

A person could very definitely have this kind of dream if they were, say, a bit nervous about being a new parent, all the learning and responsibilities, fears, and etc, involved with that, as well as, how others might be viewing, judging/critical, or in any way bringing about more fears of your own parenting abilities. If any of this is true for you, please know that you can relax, your baby won't break, let your inner instincts take over, and learn what you can. trust in your own instincts and those of your husband. :)

If the dream is regarding a different issue other than about the baby, then just ask yourself those questions above, and try to see where the symbol interpretation might fit in your waking life.

Idk. Ive had the knocking thing too. Usually happens right as I'm drifting off to sleep. I even sit up to see if someone's there. It happens more than once sometimes and its very unsettling. Haven't had it in a while.

Time is running really short, lovey. You need to open that door. It should've been done before now. You need to be brave, okay?....your life and soul depend on it.

Foot issues = immediate family
uncomfortable = something uncomfortable going on with someone in your family and maybe they are hiding it. our subconscious is way more in tune with that kind of stuff.

good luck!
