THE MORE YOU COMPLY, THE MORE THEY DEMAND

So I go into a large grocery store chain here in SoCal (4 letters, starts with V and ends with S), I wore the mask but below my nose, not above. I need to breath and I've seen this same store employees with masks below their nose all the time; they also need to breath. Picked out some flowers for my mom's grave (6 years ago today I lost her). Go to the appropriate red circle, when suddenly an employee from far away is mumbling at me. What? as I walk closer to understand wtf he's trying to tell me. Oh, turns out I was on the wrong red circle. OK, so I start to walk back to the correct red circle when he starts screaming at me again; it's my turn to check out. Go to the register, input my pin and almost done when a mgr comes over and tells me to put the mask over my nose. I told her I need to breath and she could call the police if she likes. Suddenly she grabbing the flowers and tells me she'll void the transaction. I told her fine, there's other places to buy flowers. Wow, great customer service, way to treat your customers and obviously great training. If you like to be abused, shop at V...s. If not, shop someplace else. This store hires: 4 letters, starts with an N and ends with an I, and because there's more than 1 add an s to the end. Where does it end? Do not comply. The more pushback they get, maybe, just maybe they'll rethink their stupid, senseless rules.
