Echo chamber of my mind
I'd appreciate it if some of y'all fine folks would be willing to retweet or share this line I sent out to Musk on twitter; it may only increase the chances of him seeing it and reading the attached research article by a fraction of a fraction of a tiny sliver of percentage but I've decided even that minuscule increase is worth the effort imho. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and all that.

[link to twitter.com (secure)]

It involves a gravity-assist space propulsion engine that has the possibility to make interplanetary travel actually pragmatically possible within the next 5 decades. At the very least I just want someone with the money and expertise to give a crack at crafting an experimental proof of concept in my life, or at least have a damned discussion about it. I've been trying to at least generate a simple discussion about this very paper for nearly 4 years now and its frustrating how little interest I've been able to drum up considering its profound possible impact on our future if even remotely workable.

*EDIT*

I updated the thread title to reflect the nature of the discourse herein. One of these times I'll manage to engage at least one person on this subject...

Is there a link to your paper? I don't think that tweet is going to get the attention you want.

More importantly, have you done any experiments to validate your idea? Mathematical analysis?

Yeah sorry about that, I just realized that the link to the tweet doesn't automatically open up the whole thread which isn't ideal. I've read that thing so many times now and I'm really interested in someone else's input; I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed and it took me a few months at least to get brushed up on the fundamentals it addresses to even be able to begin to critique it, so take your time digesting although I would like to know your first impressions.

Well I don't like to advocate theft, but as since it's just for pure knowledge's sake I'll send you in the right direction. If you google for sci-hub you should be able to find a link to a beautiful Russian site dedicated to unlocking all the scientific knowledge from behind these atrocious pay walls.

All the more reason to blow this up and expose it to the most eyes as possible. A direct refusal to discuss the basic principles behind this tech and it's various implications and possible different implementations (such as, I don't know, a contained high rpm vortically electromagnetic accelerated and controlled mass of mercury perhaps) will be a clear indictment that they are already aware and utilizing something similar.

There have been lots of misleading "facts" about space. I'm not going to turn this into a hoakey debate. I looked at article. It's not really useful. The person that is behind it is though. They've just been given bad information. Thank you for the interesting thread sir or ma'am. GLP needs more of this
