Feel free to hang out with us and ask any questions you may have about the Writings, the Bible, and our Father and Creator. Every single image used in the Bible has a precise signification, and knowing these immensely increases the richness of one's study. An idol of gold is not the same thing as an idol of stone. A bird of Heaven, a spiritual truth, is not the same thing as a flying thing, a natural truth. Every single name and pair of names has a definite significance with regard to Jesus, His Churches, general spiritual matters and the regeneration process of individual souls such as you or I. Even if you are uninterested, remember this important truth: the highest fulfilment is to be found in doing good because it is good (charity) and promulgating truth because it is true (carrying out the great commission). Or, as the Writings put it, "The delight itself which is in the love of doing what is good without any recompense is the reward which remains to eternity" (New Jerusalem 155). May you find the goods and truths which you personally need, regardless of whether you find them with us; they are out there, and the pursuit and application of these is where the meaning of life for you is to be found.
