This is 2:15 of the planet is alive, mother earth is angry, and if we don't smarten up, she, the natural world anthropomorphized, will kill us all.

I'm paraphrasing with dramatic effect, but there is literally zero attempt here to make a scientific argument as to how exactly poor treatment of the planet and other species is going to result in more pandemics.

It's a religion.
