"Gave" is not to be taken here as handed it over - the land of the Lees had been confiscated during the Civil War.

for non-payment of taxes...... a rule had been made that taxes could only be paid by the landowner IN PERSON.

Mrs. Lee was behind Confederate lines and could not pay in person. She provided the tax money due to another to pay with, but the money was rejected and Arlington Home seized.

She had fled when General Scott, a Union man, decided the hills around Washington had to be in Northern hands, to protect D.C.

As a Washington/Custis family member, she had many artifacts of her family to protect. .

The United States confiscated the land and used it for burial purposes..... both General Robert E. Lee and his wife died while it was under Federal control.

A son wanted the land back - said to be a hopeless legal endeavor - it went to the Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of the Lee family.

With the Lee family in control of the land again, there was a huge problem - what to do with the thousands of soldiers already buried there.


The intent was NOT to disrupt their final rest, but to right a legal wrong. Mr. Lee accepted $150,000 from the United States government in lieu of the land itself.

With that history, it is OBVIOUS that BLM must get in their
Soros supplied bulldozers and right a severe wrong.

And all the bad whiteys need to get shovels and help.

That evil cemetery of White Supremacy must be ended!

It's not, but that could be a picture of my father and his brothers and sisters. They were barefooted, picking cotton in Texas during the Depression. It's something; that he never really mentally escaped from, living in Texas and Oklahoma during the Great Depression. No doubt,, his life led to similar behaviors in my own life. Not having food to eat or people to help you affects you.
Do I pity black people that picked cotton? Yeah, but plenty of white people suffered too.
Do I pity black people abused and killed by cops? Yeah, but they do it to White people just as much. And White people don't resist as much as black people do, so there is less justification.

I went to the Pea Ridge Battlefield Memorial(Pea Ridge Ar), to see what they had to say. The Pea Ridge battle was the largest battle West of the Mississippi. Sadly to say, and to my surprise, there was virtually Nothing about the Confederates that died there. It was all about the North. Southerners and Confederates were ignored as they celebrated their victory. I did not watch their movies. Libtards are the descendents of the Libtard Union Social Justice Warriors that destroyed the south. So if you think Antifa et al won't kill you, you better think again.
